MedilinkUK comments on ‘Liberating the NHS’ - and an opportunity to feed into the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE)
Perhaps you weren’t aware of it, but SEHTA is the Medilink for the South East of England and is part of MedilinkUK.
MedilinkUK is the voice of UK Life Science, and has its own website, MedilinkUK.com, which acts as a platform for anyone in the industry to raise any current issues as a discussion, allowing for comments to be posted against them.
This is a fantastic way to get our voice heard, as an industry, thus making a contribution towards any changes that are due to be made both now and in the future.
With the Government’s recent White Paper document having being released on the subject of ‘Liberating the NHS’, Chair of MedilinkUK, Tony Davis, is asking us and the entire MedilinkUK.com community for our views on what may be the opportunities and threats to our industry as a result of the proposal laid out within this document.
As fellow members and colleagues of MedilinkUK, your support would of course be absolutely invaluable to this discussion, which aims to generate enough response to be able to have a significant impact as a contribution to ABHI’s consultation response.
We would like to see all Medilinks across the UK getting involved in this discussion, which is at the heart of all our businesses and ultimately livelihoods, by leaving your comments underneath Tony’s opening discussion, and also by encouraging all of your contacts to get involved and do the same. If we all work together this could become a really exciting, and powerful debate that demands attention from all those currently in a position of influence over the NHS.
