Thanks to Skillset's agreement with Train to Gain, your creative media company may be entitled to free advice from an experienced Business Link adviser who will help you meet your business goals. The broker will help you identify the skills your business needs, suggest relevant training and providers, and help you access funding or subsidies to complement your investment. Funding for leadership and management training is available to companies with between 5 and 249 employees. One business owner or senior manager can access £500 to spend on any sort of management training that would benefit your business. On top of this you can receive a further £500 if you match it pound for pound. So a maximum of £1500 is available for a contribution of £500. You can choose the training provider and the training does not have to be linked to a qualification - coaching, mentoring, short courses, seminars, masterclasses are all eligible. In some English regions there is additional support.
