The future job fund was announced in Budget 2009 and the money is to be spent between October 2009 and March 2011. The main objective of the fund is to create 170,000 additional jobs for 18 to 24 years old who are unemployed and forms part of the Government Young Persons Guarantee program.     Future Creative is offering brokerage and delivery for the future jobs fund in the creative and cultural sector. Currently Future Creative is working on the delivery model of the future job fund for Thanet District Council and Kent County Council. Please see the attachment for further information. Future Creative is also Lead ADO for the Arts Award in the south east.  This allows us to accredit the award to all our candidates.  This improves their chances of employability and further education and training.
