This course is for professionals who have or will have a leading role in their team, department or work environment and want to learn new ways of thinking to improve strategy, competitiveness, leadership, staff engagement and working environment.

Delivered by Steven Stark and Curtis James of People Who Do.

Event Description
Traditional industries are being outsourced and automated because they are out of touch with what people and businesses really need. Bring a new way of thinking to what you and your people do and overcome the limitations of traditional approaches to leading organisations.

This immersive incubator enables participants to develop solutions to their organisational and leadership issues.

The course is tailored to the needs of the participants with a strong emphasis on practical learning. Participants will build a physical manual of tools and learning to take away and enable them to creatively lead companies, projects, movements, crowds, others and themselves.

As well as reviewing the limitations of traditional approaches to management, the course considers a range of new ideas for designing, operating and leading organisations today. The new approaches are formatted into tools that can be taken away and applied.

The course provides the space to think clearly and strategically about participants’ situations and they are encouraged to actively seek solutions for their own circumstances.

Time is given to the exploration of personal style and the development of authentic leadership skills that sit comfortably with the individual.

Skills considered include:
• Facilitating autonomy
• Developing authenticity
• Nurturing purpose
• Thinking better
• Seeing patterns
• Finding solutions

By the end of the course you will have:
• Identified and understood your leadership approach
• Practical experience of how new approaches to thinking can be applied to strategy, line management and business development
• Developed a plan for applying the skills
to your business
• A personalised tool kit customised to
your situation
• Understood the limitations of “last century” thinking and approaches

Course fees: £495
Course fees include all course materials, drinks, snacks and lunch on each course day. Upon completion of the course participants will be awarded a King’s College London Certificate of Attendance.
